Despite the lighthearted start, Pascal transitioned to a poignant moment, visibly moved as he thanked his family. A sudden end to his speech, declaring an imminent panic attack, added an unexpected twist to the ceremony. Other nominees this year included Culkin, Brian Cox, Billy Crudup, and Matthew Macfadyen.
Pascal, renowned for creating buzz at awards shows, continued his streak with a jest about a shoulder injury caused by Culkin at the 2023 Emmy Awards. A faux feud between them began at the Golden Globes when Culkin playfully teased Pascal during his own acceptance speech.
Backstage after the SAG win, Pedro Pascal hinted at "making out" with Culkin for revenge, praising him while confessing a lapse in memory regarding his speech.
As Pascal gears up for the upcoming Season 2 of "The Last of Us," slated for production this year, fans anticipate more memorable moments. However, the show is not expected to return to HBO until 2025.
